2020 is the second vintage of this wine; the label is dedicated to my grandparents who gave me a passion for rosso etna wine.
100% Nerello Mascalase
Alcoholic fermentation at no more than 25°, maceration on the skins for one week
Aging for 12 months in a third-passage tonneaux and barrique
The color is garnet red with aromas of ripe cherry, pepper and cinnamon imparted by aging with a hint of flint. The palate is light, fresh, with red fruits such as cherry and raspberry and a lingering mineral finish given by the volcanic soil. A medium-bodied wine with ripe fruit predominating on the finish.
